Exchange forward mail to linux sendmail server.

Hello
I am thinking about using exchange internally for all mail and forward
mail that is to rcpt outside my domain to a linux sendmail server in my
dmz.
All mail that is to and from people in my domain will not be forwarded
to the external linux sendmail server.
Is this possible and how do i do it?
Have some problems understanding the smtp connector if that's the one
to configure.
