I posted this over at the entourage group and after some suggestions
which didn't pan out, they suggested posting over here.
I have Entourage Web Services Edition installed, Version 13.0.0
(090609) specifically, under Mac OS X v.10.5.8 and I am having a major
headache of a problem.
Entourage connects to my Office Exchange Server and I get messages in
my Inbox just fine. However, when I manually or automatically (via
rule, e.g., the built-in Junk mail filter) move messages from the
Inbox to another folder I end up with a duplicate message being placed
into that same folder. This is a major pain and is eating up storage
space.
What happens is after the message is moved to the folder, the next
synchronization of that folder with the Exchange Server causes a
duplicate of that message to be moved into the same folder. I can see
it in the Entourage log.
It happens whether I am connecting to the Office Exchange server from
behind our firewall or from outside it.
I have started with a fresh identity and it still happens.
Does anybody have any suggestions on at least troubleshooting this
issue?
Thanks,
-Randy
