Hello!

I am working on a Windows 2003 Standard Server with Exchange 2003
Standard. Both with latest service packs.

All new Users get random-generated passwords which have to be changed
on first logon.

The Problem: Users, who do not login on client machines but only in OWA
are not able to login (because they should change their password on
first-login which does not work within OWA)

I already checked, that changing passwords within OWA works properly.

Would be great if somebody has additional information for mee - or
other scenarios for me and my users...

Regards,
Martin

I found KB833734 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833734/DE/) which
quotes within Symptoms:

You cannot change passwords for users whose passwords must be changed
at the next logon.

I requested the Patch but it is already integrated in SP1 so no
installation is needed.

But it still does not work as I want it to to... ;)

Help appreciated,
