I am in trouble! Some time ago with massive help from readers of msnews. I
managed to build an invoice system for a local charity. This is going well
and is well used without any bother to me BUT now they wish to change the
telephone number and name of the office and have called on me for help. I
have forgotten how I did it but the business address on the invoices are in
there as headers. I can alter each invoice as it comes up but I wish to
alter the template so the new details are altered errantly on all invoices.
I cannot find where this can be done! Any help would be much appreciated.
(Windows XP - MSOffice Excel 2003). P to P

In Windows Explorer, drill down to the template file.

Right-click and open.

This will open the actual *.xlt file, not a copy of it.

Edit and save.

Thank you very much Gord for your very quick reply but I am afraid it did
not resolve my problem. The workbook which is full of macros and some very
detailed programming is easy to step into and alter any of the details but
there is no sign of the heading anywhere. I will attach an out of date copy
of an invoice if you like so that you may see how it runs and maybe you can
find the basic template!! Thank you
