Hello...
My Explorer now automatically OPENs a zip file, instead of providing
the save dialog.
Where do I go to restore this association's setting so that it goes
back to prompting me for where to save it or run it, etc.? HELP!
Thanks,
Meow

I'd try:
Open windows explorer
Tools|Folder options|File types tab
Scroll down to the Zip entry and select it
Click the Advanced button
Check the "confirm open after download" checkbox

microsoft.public.inetexplorer yields no responses after several hours and
is also a very low post volume group.
Any other snide, meaningless remarks?
I mean, if the actual assistance requested is not why you are posting,
you can essentially kiss my ass, because the crap you did post is just
immature playground bully baby bullshit.
That dialog does not exist in my windows explorer options tab.
Nor Internet Explorer.
The group has had 6 posts in the entire 2009 year. So I do not expect
to see an answer in there any time soon.
Popular, high daily post count groups ARE the place the get the answer,
regardless of the group topic, and regardless of what a dope like you
thinks, Williams.
The dopes that piss and moan over it generate more noise than if they
had simply answered the question.
I sure hope your employer knows about your character flaws, Williams.
How about My Computer>Tools>Folder Options>File Types

I always use the dialog, and I thought my selection the other day would
make it auto-SVAE, not auto-RUN. Still, I can't find the switch (or
dialog) to return it to the desired state.
