I copy an image and paste it in a cell, stretch it into a desired size and
print it with the table it is attached in. The result is 20-30 % wider image
than the original. When streched it expands over several rows and colums.
Steps carried out are simply copy, paste and strech.
How could I maintane the ratio?
Thanks

A couple of things to check under Right-Click>Format Picture

Have you enabled Lock Aspect Ratio?

How about Positioning under Properties? Move and size with cells or one of
the other two options?

What are print settings under Scaling? Fit to 1 x 1 or Adjust to a
percentage?

Thanks for the answer Gord.
Sorry forgot to mention. I have 2007 student version. I have tried to follow
your instructions. Right clicking does not bring the properties only copy
here etc. Right clicking the "frame" brings up something called size and
properties. There I can find the settings you mentioned. So this is what I
do:original size and size are equal so the scale is hight 100% wihth 100%.
Aspect ratio enabled. Relation to original enabled. As a matter of fact it
does not make any difference how I set those values.
When I look at the preview and the text under it image is one letter wider
than the original.
Thanks

Might be a printer problem but I can't say for sure.

I don't print many pictures or images so haven't got much trouble-shooting
skills in that area.

Hopefully someone will drop in with a suggestion of three.
