I own Excel 2000, but for some reason when I had to install it after my old computer crashed I couldn't use the "search workbook" function. (Edit-Find-look in workbook). Can someone let me know how I can get this function back?

I have a workbook with multiple worksheets, the worksheets are structured identical to each other. I need to name certain ranges in each of the worksheets. Is it not possible to freeze the titles at the top of the screen (always show row 1 at the top of the screen) AND then split the screen so that I can view one column on the left side independantly of the section I'm working on on the right side?
