Can I change the comment default font

I would like to be able to customize the font that is used when adding a
comment to a cell. Is there a way to do this

Assuming you are using windows. either right click the desktop and select
properties or do start>control panel>display, then select appearance,
scroll to tooltip under item and there you can change the background and
font (Tahoma default). Note that it will have an effect on other programs as
well

You can change the default font size, but not the default font type.

--To change the default font size (this will also change the settings
for tooltips in Excel and other programs):

Right-click on the desktop, and choose Properties
On the Appearance tab, click Advanced.
From the Item dropdown, choose Tooltip
Choose a font Size, click OK, click OK
(Note: selecting a font type here will not affect the
default font used in Excel's comments)
You can also set the font to Bold or italic, and select a colour

You just forgot to type "size" after "font". The rest was correct, so
that's at least 95%. <g>
