One File Per Window

I am running Vista SP1 and Excel 2007 fully updated. Currently when I have one spreadsheet open and then open another from the Excel menu or by clicking on a file icon, excel opens the second file in the same window the first file was in. I don't want that, it drives me crazy. I expect programs to open a new window per file I have open. I want them open... more »

how do i write a formula for this (this is what i have in m3 as my formula) =(l3*35)*2 now how do i have it if the return to this is say 50 and in cell c3 is 90. Is it possible or impossible to auto adjust range in a formula?

I have small ranges separated by blank rows, and have unique identifiers for each range. Is it possible to have a range adjust on the criteria of blank rows separating data or on the unique identifier cell? May be impossible but how would I know if I don’t know better. I am working with a worksheet that I copy (keeping same blank form) but the name changes from TL to TL (2) which I cannot use in my rollup as the formula won't read. Could anyone help me figure a way to keep the new worksheet name from adding the ( ) so that my formulas will work

trace dependents in named cells in Excel 2007?

I just changed several spreadsheet inputs to "named" cells in order to understand the formulas better. Once the cell references are changed to "names", I can no longer audit those cells using the "trace dependents" auditing feature. Can anyone tell me how to do this, or if its even possible?
