Chart distorts secondary axis when the x-axis is logarithmic

I'm trying to create a chart whose x-axis and primary y-axis are logarithmic
and whose secondary y-axis is linear using Excel 2007. No matter how I build
the chart (i.e. three columns at the same time, or adding a series at a time)
as soon as I select logarithmic from the x-axis options the data plotted on

Try and break down the chart into its constituent parts.
Where is it first going wrong?
Change the underlying range at that point and see the impact of doing that
in the chart.
Basically, change the range to as small as possible but then keep adding to
the range and see the effect of doing that on the chart. Hopefully, that way,

Check what type of chart you are using. Playing around with some sample data
similar to your example, it sounds like you created a stacked column chart,
when you are really wanting a clustered chart. A stacked chart adds on each
series's value to the previous series value(s).

I'm doing an energy chart for 3 different buildings. Column 1 has the
months, column 2 has the dollar amount is for Bldg 1. Column 3 is for the
dollar amount for Bldg 2 and column 4 ist the dollar amount for Bldg 3.

I refresh data every month and some of my Excel charts tied to the data are
shrinking when I go to print them. I'm wasting hours trying to view at 200%
so I can grab a resize handle and reformatting them all.
Please help. Tell me there is an upgrade to fix this glitch!

I have an Excel 2007 spreadheet (.xlsx) file with about 40 charts all in
their own sheets.
Every one of those sheets used to have their own descriptive tab name. Excel
does not seem to like that, however, as sometimes after closing, it just
deletes all of my tab names replacing them with a generic Chart3, Chart4,

Additionally
I need the chart to automatically expand with increased incremental data,

I created a new file with file extension .xlsm.
Columns D to I continue updating with no problems, the chart just freezes
after about 247 rows.
When I created the line chart, I selected columns D to I as input data and
Column C for my X axis ( there is no data in column C) this appears to work
up to row 247.

when you saved into 2007, you keep the old file format or use the new format?
if using new, pls make sure you are using xlsm.
if you are using the compatibility mode, please check make to make sure you
click the security setting to low.

Dear Sir,
Need help with pivot charts. The problem I am facing is as given.
Have created a pivot. It has filters, by name and we want to track for each
person productive & non productive hours. One name is chosen and a pie chart
is made and formating done with labels (to display the absolute no. and %).
