Random numbers with multiple threads 
  Please could some kind person explain how to generate random numbers that have a different sequence in different threads. In my main thread I'm using srand seeded by time, then in each thread I'm using rand. Whilst the numbers generated in each thread are random, each thread gets the SAME sequence of random numbers. ddcAsqRJ.dll is not a valid windows image 
  I get the message "The appliction or DLL C:\Windows\system32\ddcAsqRJ.d ll is not a valid Windows image. Please check against installation diskette", whenever I install anything on my PC. Even if I run the re-installation CD I have no idea how to repair this. What can I do?

problem with SxS installation
