Does anybody know how to reload a WDDM display driver on Vista without having
to reboot? On XP with XPDM I used the ChangeDisplaySettings API to switch to
VGA mode and then back to accelerated mode. The same approach doesn’t seem to
work for my WDDM driver.

I basically just want to be able to copy in an updated version of the driver
and have Windows use it.

Thanks!

Are you trying to load your own WDDM driver or else u r trying to
switch the WDDM driver provided by the graphics card vendor.

have you developed your own WDDM driver if so i have some queries?

Thanks & Regards,

Well, both I guess. I've replaced the existing driver with my own driver but
I'd like to be able to have it reloaded whenever I copy in a new version of
it.
