1. What versions of Office data are officially supported by this provider?
Unofficially? I can read Access 2007 and Excel 2007 just fine of course as
well as older data but would like to see the official version support claim.

2. Where is this provider documented as to the syntax and options that can
be put onto the connection string? I have looked everywhere and the best doc
I can find is at http://ConnectionStrings.com but certainly there is MSFT doc
for this provider and for the Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 provider SOMEWHERE?

3. Is there ANYWAY to read an Excel password protected spreadsheet with the
ACE or JET OLEDB providers without having it manually opened already?

Is there a better place to ask this question?

Apparently MSFT does not read these boards, OLEDB drivers are NOT documented
and no one uses them...

I feel your pain.

Any luck since your last note?

No. Nothing other than what I found at the ConnectionStrings link. I coded my
application and it works but amazingly I did not find any official doc on
either the ACE or Jet providers.
