  <title type="text">Running CRM 3.0 and CRM 4.0 on the same server</title>

  I am in the process of testing conversion from CRM 3.0 to CRM 4.0 and &lt;br&gt; want to know if it is possible to run both on the same server &lt;br&gt; concurrently. &lt;br&gt; I currently have a test CRM 3.0 set up and would like to install and &lt;br&gt; run CRM 4.0 in a second data base on the same SQL Server and Web &lt;br&gt; Server. Is this possible?

  There can be several causes for this problem. &lt;br&gt; How is the issue web site binding configured. Is this set to any ip, if not &lt;br&gt; is it set to the correct one. Is it using a hostname, if so are you using &lt;br&gt; this one. Are there other sites using the same binding parameters (this will &lt;br&gt; typically generate a message in the server event log).

  Matt; &lt;br&gt; I think to script this, you would need to call web services from your &lt;br&gt; script - it is no longer a &#39;simple&#39; script at that point.
