You don't assign licenses anymore like you did in v1.x. Any active user
that is not "Restricted Mode" is using a license.

I have CRM 3.0 SBE installed, 10 license show under the License Manager. I
have 10 users created. The only user that can log in is the Administrator, I
believe it to be a license issue... Where exactly does one go to assign a
license to a user? I look under Business Unit, Users and it says License
info
at the bottom of a users settings but the only option there is Restricted
Mode. There is no license tab like there was in 1.2.

On the CRM server, you need to bring up the Deployment Manager (Start/All
Programs/Microsoft CRM/Deployment Manager. Expand User Manger under
Deployment Manager. You should see your organization name. Right click on
this and select All Tasks, then Create Microsoft CRM Users. This brings up
the User Manager Wizard will allow you to assign your domain users to CRM.

Hope that helps.

Already did that, the users are all created in CRM and tied to the AD
account, security roles assigned.

I assume the Restricted Access Mode check box is clear on each user.

Hmmm. Does this happen on one workstation or on all? Is the popup blocker
turned off on Internet Explorer?

Good point. I've run into this with 3rd party blockers from Google and Yahoo.

It happens on multiple machines including the server itself, I can log in as
Administrator which is also assigned the Admin role in CRM. I have disabled
all popup blockers and added the CRM site to the trusted intranet sites.

Any other ideas? Thanks again for your help...

UUGH! :-) I'm running out of ideas. You may have already posted this but
when you try to log on as a user, what error or other response are you
seeing?

You are not authorized to view this page You do not have permission to
view this directory or page due to the access control list (ACL) that is
configured for this resource on the Web server.

Sorry not to have responded. Was trying to think up a next step. Perhaps
pulling a rabbit out of a hat :-)

A couple of thoughts. First, are you using ISA 2004? If so, have you web
published your CRM site? Can you log on to your server as one of the 'users'
and try to bring up CRM?

Second, is your CRM site in your Trusted Sites in your browser?

Are you a Microsoft partner (registeres, Certified, etc.)? If so you might
try the partner managed news groups if we can't figure it out.

I finally figured this out... It was due to popup blocker issues. Disabled
all popup blockers and now I can access the CRM system via the browser.

Wow! Very good. My experience with popup blockers is that it simply drops
out of the application. Glad you got it figured out.
