CRM installation is working great. I have a few client machines with the CRM
Outlook client that seem to have an issue connecting to the exchange server
after CRM client was installed. The users are plagued with notifications of
retrieving data from exchange server. The clients have different Window
versions and different office version all complying with install
requirements. The only thing that I can find that they have in common is that
their inboxes contain 10s of thousands of messages in their mailbox inbox.
Could something to do with the CRM sync process have something to do with
this?

Jason - I think your assumption is correct. On the initial launch, the CRM
for Outlook will sync contacts and appointments - the first hit can be
painful depending on the number of objects the users own. I'm doing one for
a user today and it has been going for an hour already...

Best just to let it finish - eventually it will and then the exchange server
messages will stop as well.

Are you running the Outlook clients in cached mode to the Exchange server?

No, Most of the clients are Office XP. The problem does not occur
consistently. Some days they receive the notification only a few times.
Other days it could occur multiple times an hour.
