They would enter the URL for the server (http://servername). They may also
need the port (by default http://servername:5555).

The CRM UI opens for a second and the browser closed byitself.

How do I rectify this?

I have disabled my popups, but still I am not able to see the UI from my
user pc.

I am using InternetExplorer v6.0 don't have sp1 does it matter?

According to the implementation guide you should have IE 6 SP1, so that
could be it.

I have tested both

WIN XP with IE 6.0 SP1 and SP2.
I am getting page not found error.

Windows 2000 Server with IE 6.0 and SP1
Application open and closed in a fraction of Second.

Please help.

On your 2000 server, try browsing to http://<yourcrmserver>/loader.aspx.
What do you get?

There are few laptops with XP SP2 is not working, I am getting page not found
error message.

Other OS with, IE 6.0 and SP1 is working fine.

WIN XP, 2000, 2003 with IE SP1

If it may help... I had to use a direct link to the 'loader.aspx' page
in order to make IE stay opened...
