When I try to run my CMS Site From Web Author option the IE display the page
can not found, the CMS is installed in a win 2000 SP4 and is connetcted
remotely to the CMS Data Base.
please check in the SCA if the web site you are hitting is enabled as a MCMS
web entry point.
Also ensure that the "Map channel name to host header name" feature is
disabled.
Cheers,
Stefan.

And when I checking your recomendations i discover that the "cache
configuration" in the SCA do not functions.
there is a web tab in the SCA.
Check if your website is correctly configured.
What do you mean with "the cache configuration in the SCA do not function"?
Cheers,
Stefan.
