Clear Revision History problems.

I am trying to use the Clear Revision History tool in Site Manager. I
keep getting the error:
Error: 4100
Description: The XML parser could not parse the file it was given.
Severity: 5
Source: Source: aegrammarparser.cpp 319

Recommended Action:

Has anyone else had this problem and able to move beyond it? I know
there were issues before SP2, but it was supposed to have fixed a
similar issue, (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894691) not quite the
same issue that I'm seeing.

Hi Karen,

we keep experiencing the same symptoms. It usually happens when
SiteManager "looses" the connection to the server when PRH is running
for looong times. We usually ignore it and restart the purging once
activity from the previous purge on the SQL server has stopped. Seems
to work and we stop to restart the PRH wehn the database does not
shrink in size anymore.

Thanks for the reply Wolfgang. I actually was able to get around this
error if I did the clear history in batches. So I started with an
earlier date first, and then did it several more times, increasing the
data a few months each time. Finally got through the whole thing.
