Convert xml to pipe delimit file in BziTalk

I am very new to Bzitalk. I am trying to convert a xml file to a pipe
delimited text file. Can anyone please list the steps ? Its very
urgent.

Hi,

You must be having the sample flat file with pipe delimeter. Here are the
steps to follow.

1-Create a biztalk application.
2-Create the schema using Add the Flat file schema wizard and the sample
flat file. It will create the destination schema.
3-Add the source schema.
4-Add the map file to map the source schema to destination flat file schema.
and you are done.
5- In the biztalk admin section use the file adapter at send and receive
ports and use the map as required.

Please let me know if you face any issue.

i have tried this same solution with no success.

the output is xml for both 2006 r2 and 2009.

any other suggestions from anyone?

Hi,

You have to create a new Send Pipeline and use the Flat File Assembler
in the Assemble stage. Associate your Flat file schema with the Flat
File Assembler component in the pipeline.
Use the new pipeline in the send port and you XML message will be
converted into a Flat file.

Hi,

In addition, while testing your map assign the "native" type to your output
format type property of the map.
