Routing failure errors

we are getting consistent routing failure errors when recycling our database
host. the reason i say consisten is the messages are the same and don't
really correspond to running orchestraions. we have to do this recycling of
host every day in our two biztalk server and every day get these
three routing failure messages on each server. it sounds like these were
hunged in the server once for the first time and now every time, with the
recycle they cause the error. things tried that didn't help so far, stopped
the corresponding orchestraions and ports, and still getting error, even
stopped the receive hosts for the orchestrations and didn't help. biztalk
2004 is what we're having.

HI,

I'd be looking at what hosts do you have, and whats running in them, which
adapters are running in which host, and the sequence of how you bring them
back up.

If you bring up the receive host before your processing host you'll get
failures, as the subscriber is not there it's not running. Look at the
sequence of how you bring it all back up again.

Worst case you can extract these messages and see what they are, putting a
port to subscibe to these types of messages in the filter, before they fail,
will give more detail on exactly why this is occuring.
