My company is new to BizTalk and we're attempting to use BRE as a replacement
of XForms.
of XForms.
We have used XForms for doing the business rule validation specified in the
XML files. we have around 3000 rules defined in the XML.
is there a way to import these rules directly into biztalk by transforming
the XML file?

Yes and no. Yes there is a way and you can do it. No it is not
provided for you. I would use XSLT (or the mapper in BizTalk if you
want to be slick) to create first a vocabulary. Once you have this
you will be able to create your policy by mapping them over. I will
advise that this will not really be an easy task as most of the
linking is done via Guid.
