I am trying to use BizTalk Default FTP adapter to pull out files from Remote
FTP server but the files are not getting pulled from the Remote FTP server.

There is no error's or warnings in event log as well as no log file
generated.

I have checked the remote server to see if there are files existing to be
downloaded and yes there are files to be downloaded.

Also Applied Hot Fix which was suggested by Microsoft.

Still not having any luck to pull these files.

Can anyone shread some light on this?

The built-in BizTalk FTP adapter is very flaky. Find a third-party
FTP adapter and use that instead. We use /nsoftware, but there are
others.

Hope that helps.

FYI, there is a new FREE community edition of the /n software adapters here:

Does the account you are using have permission to delete the file from
the FTP server?
