Hi All,

The Swift has come up with Changes to SWIFT message standards. As of my
knowledge,
-We just need to install the revised message pack and do rest of the
configuration.
-Refer the revised message types(101/103 and so on) to the existing
solution(which is using Message pack 2007), and built it.

Valuable suggestions on the above topic are welcome.

Raj..the King!

Hi Raj,

Yes, you need to install the latest message pack and do configuration but
this is not all. This may differ from scenario to scenario. For example: If
you are using maps for transformation; you may have to update it due to this
year change. You will have to do the changes and redeploy in those cases.

MT1XX do not have considerable changes so, you only need the latest message
pack and no other change in your overall solution.

Hi Jay,

As i am performing mapping using the SWIFT Schemas,
-I belive i have to refer the revised schemas(SP-2008) to the existing
solution and do the fresh mapping.
-Rebuild the solution

The above said are fine in development m/c...However,
-what about in Production server if the Swift schemas changes every year?
-Do i need to redeploy the MSI package(after making changes to existing soln
with revised schema) every year?

Raj..the King!

Yes. You will have to do this every year!

Otherwise, how will the production servers be updated. Any changes that
impact your system must be updated on the production servers as well.
