ICW fails during exchange portion

Hello,

I am unable to run the icw successfully as it fails during
the Exchange portion.

This server has been running fine and with no changes to
the Exchange configuration

I have included the fail section of the icwlog. Any clues
as to how to recover here?

Hi Matt,
Check to see if the SMTP service is installed (indicate how you are
checking), has this ever worked or is this a new install? depending on
what's wrong installing the SMTP service (in add/remove programs windows
components) then re-installing exchange 2k (using add/remove programs small
business server set in "maintenance mode" and exchange in reinstall mode),
just a guess without much info.

Thanks for the reply Jerry,

I migrated this server from SBS4.5 approx 1 year ago and
has been operating ever since with minimal problems.

I am about to reinstall EXCH2K SP2 and have applied IIS5
updates.

Will lket the group know how this goes.

re-installed IIS and Exchange and this fixed the problem.

I used the procedure in Q320202
