Migrating SBS 2000 to Server 2008 Std & Exchange 2007

Goal is to migrate SBS 2000 to Server 2008 Std & Exchange 2007

(Server1) SBS 2000 on old hardware

(Server2) Server 2008 Std with AD, DNS, WINS, Groups, Shares, File Security,
Scripts, VMware Server 2, on new hardware

(Server3) (Server is a Virtual Machine - Server 2008, Exchange 2007, &
BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5)

What is correct procedure to migrate SBS 2000 directly to Server 2008 Std
without having to migrate SBS 2000 to SBS 2003 then to Server 2008 Std?

Maybe i didn't clarify the process enough, but i am not going from SBS2000 to
SBS2008.

I am going from SBS2000 to WinSrv2008 Standard & Exchange2007.

Is there a KB article for this procedure with requirements and utilities?

Is the procedure the same for SBS2008 and WinSrv2008 Standard?

Any reason why you aren't migrating to SBS 2008 as that will save you some
bucks?
