I have installed SBS 2000 on a Gateway PIII 800MHz with
512MB RAM.

Installation completed without problems. However after
installation and opening the MMC or Exchange I get the
following error:

snap-in failed to initialise: Name: Exchange System
CLSID: {1B600AEA-10BA-11D2-9F28-00C04FA37610}

Have attempted to installs wit the same result.

At first install got the following:

Setup failed while installing sub-component Exchange
System Management Snap-ins with error code 0xC103798A( )
You may cancel installation etc.

Can anyone help please. Thanks

That server is not connected to the internet yet, right?

The snap error in SBS Console is caused by the fact that the Exchange
System Management Snap-in failed to install.
Please run SBS integrated setup to reinstall the Exchange portion.
