I have SBS203 and want to upgrade to SBS2008
When I try and run it it says I need .net 2.0507 so I downloaded NetFx64.exe
(I have a 64bit Athlon) but when I try and run it I get
"Error creating process
<S:\DOCUME~1\ADMIN~1.xxx\...\Temp\IXP000.TMP\Install.exe>. Reason
D:\WINDOWS\System32\advpack.dll

Any ideas?

Thanks

If you're trying to install on your SBS 03, you need the 32bit version because SBS 2003 is a 32 bit OS

The error message could be a bit more useful. Maybe they just didn't expect
people to be as stupid as me...

Thanks for your help.

Download the 32-bit version of .Net and install on your SBS 2003 server.
