Running SBS 2008 Std, Clients are XP with Outlook 2007, The Outlook works
fine, but keeps popping up a Connect to domain box, entering the correct
credentials does not make it go away. Outlook has a message in the bottom
right that says it needs a password.

Not to steal Cris's thunder, but in the interest of saving you more work:

Exchange SP2 is not ready for SBS 2008 becuase of an issue with the SBS integration.
We advise holding off for awhile. UR9 will (likely) fix the issue you are
having.

On SBS 2008.... Completed a serious of Windows Server 2008 Updates on
2009-12-22

I am having the exact same challeng TomC is having (after installing these
updates). This server was fully function prior to the updates (again...
Windows Server 2008 related)

This smells of Exchange loosing it's ability to find the DC or communicate
with Active Directory (but the error logs don't support that). In this case
obviously it's the same box.

ALL THIS POST UPDATES (fine before wuauclt ). KB's installed are: KB973565,
KB971486, KB95455, KB974571, KB975254, KB973688, KB973687, KB973037,
KB973525, KB976325, KB975517, KB969947, KB975467
KB971737, KB958869,KB970430, KB974318, KB973917

Please advise. Getting ready to run Exchange BPA but error logs are not
giving me much at this point. Wondering if these updates are known at MS to
cause this error with SBS 2008??? Thanks, Mark

For Microsoft Outlook repeated pop ups and continous login requests to
Exchange, as Chris stated above, Update Rollup 9 fixed the problem.

We blogged our experiences here:
