Incompentecy - Mother Old

Not sure if anyone can help on this, but Mom is 87 years old, has dementia,
and typically does not know where she is.
and typically does not know where she is.
I know I will need to hire a lawyer to declare her incompentent to handle
her affairs, but I was wondering if anyone in Pennsylvania has had to go
thru the same process and what it entailed.
Your advice is very much appreciated.
