Binary attachments are forbidden by this NG's charter.
There is no need to post the same question 2 hours after the first one.
Take a moment to read the Netiquette FAQ at:
http://www.mvps.org/access/netiquette.htm

Every other time this issue has come up it has been because either :

1) A Report is exported to Snapshot with the Default printer selected as
the "Specific Printer" but with a current resolution selected lower
than the default setting.
or
2) The Report was corrupted. Export it to another MDB and then re-Import
it.

It has always been one of the above issues. I'm open to new things but
I'll put my money on #1.

Enclosed file is output by the 'Save As/ to External File/ as *.snp
format'
action. The results is a document 25% of it's original size. This occurs
on about
40% of the reports I want to output. The rest output at 100% size.
Compaing
report and query properties, I cannot find any differences which will
account for
this.

What causes the automatic reduction and how can I avoid it?

Sorry, I felt the first message was not explanitory
enough. I promis no more binary's!

Can you elborate on solution 1. I cannot find any utility
to modify my MS Access default "resolution". Are you
refering to my screen resolution? This is only occuring in
one small .mdb file but it occurs on every report
reguardless of the printer default settings.

Thanks

Bryant perhaps there is a language issue here so I'll try again. The
issue has absolutely nothing to do with your display resolution. I am
speaking about the current resolution setting of the systems default
printer.

In most cases you cannot fix the Snapshots that are not displaying
properly. You need to start over and export the original Report to
Snapshot format again.

1) Before you export the Report open the Report in Design view. Go to
FILE->PAGE SETUP menu. Click on the PAGE tab and verify that DEFAULT
PRINTER is selected. This is not the same as having SPECIFIC PRINTER
selected but pointing to the systems Default Printer!
2) Save the Report.
3) Export the Report to Snapshot format.
4) View the Report in the Snapshot viewer on this system immediately
after exporting to SNapshot format.

If the Snaphsot viewer displays the Report correctly then you have the
problem outlined in #1 of my original post. If not then the report is
corrupt. Try decompiling or recreate the Report.

Bryant:

What Stephen was referring to is that at some time you may have set your
report that "shrinks" to print to a specific printer. As you know, various
printers have resolution options e.g. 600 dpi, 1200 dpi, 300 dpi etc.
Steve was suggesting that at some point your report was set to the specific
printer and then set to print at something less than that printer's max dpi,
or in somecases at a scale factor. Check out both these issues.
