Hi;
I have inherited a tesk.
Any of three different workers can enter data for a job into Access and it vreates an email response to go back to the prospect customer.
It works. The problem is that the email then bears the 'From' field as any of these different workers.

Good Day..
I'm trying to find out how to pass a parameter from JOBBOSS ( Specificially the packing list number ) to a form in an Access JBUDRPT.mdb. I have access to all the tables I need, and have no problem with the coding, just can't get the packing list number. It's not the last or the most current in the PackingList_Header table, it's the one the user is sitting on in the Shipment Module. I've scoured the code and think is probably in the "registry" someplace, but have spent hours so far, and can't locate it.... more »

Hi. I have a database that takes an Excel spreadsheet from an outside
vendor (have no control on the spreadsheet format) and imports it into
a database. This process updates records for custoemrs.

Replace, but ignore certain characters

I'd like to ignore certain characters when I use the replace function.
For instance if I want to replace the phrase:
'said I'
in the phrase:
'Jim said (I farted)'.
In order to do this it seems that I have to ignore the parentheses in 'said (I'.

I am importing succesfully multiple text files into Access 2003,
however I need to ad a column in my access table to contain the name
of each file in order for me to identify each record set, any help
