proper control names

I have a form that has a couple of fields in the form header that I
can't seem to point to in my macro.
[combo42]
[Company_Label]
are the two fields
In my macro I want to set the visible property to -1 (so that they are
invisible when the user opens the form) but when I try to create a
"set property" macro and enter the control name to either of these two
names, I get an error saying the control doesn't exist.
It doesn't seem to matter if i put brackets or not etc.
any suggestions?
