How to prevent a sort order being saved as part of the form definition

Hi

I have a problem with MS Access 97 that when a user comes to close the form
they get a message to say that another user has changed the form and do they
wish to overwrite the changes that another user has made. This message is
appearing because users are changing the sort order of a form or applying a
filter. I want to prevent this message appearing to the user by preventing
these sort orders or filters being saved as part of the form definition but
I still want the users to be able to sort and filter the data.

Does anyone know how to do this?
