Please advise how to assign keyboard shortcut keys to a command button in a
form?

Well, the easiest way is to add an ampersand character (&) in front of the
letter in the button caption you want to use as a shortcut. For instance,
if you have a button to close your form, and you want the Alt+C shortcut to
close the form, your command button caption would be: &Close
