I created an Access db that connects to an Oracle db through pass through
queries, works fine on windows XP. On a new Windows 7 64 Ultimate machine I
cannot get Access to make a connection. I created File DSNs using the 32bit
Data Source Administrator. Created a new blank database to test the DSNs but
I have been getting connection errors. The error is TNS: could not resolve
service name error 12154.

Any help would be appreciated

Anthony

Maybe you need to install Oracle9 client into Windows 7 before you can create
a DNS for Oracle using the Oracle 9 Driver? You might want to post this to
Oracle forums regarding this as some of us may not know this will work with
Windows 7.
