Internet Explorer 8 and DataPageSize

IE8 isn't rendering data access pages and the key is DataPageSize- it must be
set to "All". As a work around I put in a inline script that sets the
datapage size at a later point(which works for IE7 & IE6):

Still no luck. It also seems impossible to get IE8 to attempt to render
DAPs in compatibity mode on the local drive- even with the META string
insterted.
This is the only thing stoping DAPs from rendering in IE8. Any ideas?
Surely Microsoft can overcome this one issue.
