Acc97: Calendar Control: mscal.ocx

I am wanting to use the Access 97 calendar control, mscal.ocx on a
WINNT 4.0 system. I installed the ODE tools. However, when I click on
Tools | Activx controls, no controls are listed.

I used the Register button, but got - mscal.ocx was unable to
add/remove itself to/from your system. Install/remove the control
using a separate setup utility.

I tried using the regsvr32 program and got a 0x80004005 error.

I removed and reinstalled the Activex controls from the ODE CD and got
the same results afterwards.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I've tried downloading a new mscal.ocx file from
http://microsoft.com/OfficeDev/FreeStuff/mscaldl.htm but get the same
error as before when trying to register it in Access.
