A/R Functionality?

Hello.

I need to include Sale and Payment processing capabilities (basically a
small A/R subledger) to my application, but i've never had to do this
before. Seeing how important this step is, are there are any 'established'
or 'common' methodologies or resources that suggest the best ways to
accomplish this in MSAccess97?

Obviously, this has been done many times before, so i'm sure that i don't
need to reinvent the wheel - i hope!

You might want to visit Database Creations on my list of Access based
Accounting Systems at my website below. Tthey used to sell the
various accounting modules one at a time. I don't know that they
still do.
