I didn't get any definitive meeting topic ideas, but it occurred to me
that there is one meeting topic idea that is very obvious: python 2.6.
A few months ago, we talked about Python 3.0. But most people won't be
able to use Python 3.0 anytime soon, because you lose backwards
compatibility with all the existing libraries. Python 2.6, on the
other hand, is usable today. It has the same backwards compatibility
as all the other Python 2.X. releases, but it offers a greater number
of new features than most of those releases and provides forwards
compatibility with Python 3.0.

What do you think? Should we talk about what looks cool and
interesting in Python 2.6?

Sounds like a winner to me.

Cool. Also worth nothing that 2.6 final is due to be released tomorrow, so the timing is appropriate :)
