SOFTWARE ENGINEER FOR AUCTION PLATFORM (HOLLYWOOD, FL) - UP TO $110K
Base compensation: $80,000 to $110,000, depending on experience.
Primolow Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer to join its growing software development team.
The Software Engineer is in charge of the development of a cutting edge
Online Auction Platform leveraging the latest "server push" technology.
The platform is designed to meet extreme scalability and performance
requirements, and offers a highly interactive and fun user experience.
The technology stack is based on mature Java / J2EE open source projects orchestrated by the Spring Framework. Our innovative startup uses an Agile software development methodology articulated around short iterations, and supported by automated unit testing, continuous integration, and constant design improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
- Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) or demonstrable Java expertise
- Spring MVC or Struts
- Tomcat or Jetty
- MySQL or Oracle
- Netbeans or Eclipse
- Test Driven Development with JUnit
NICE TO HAVE:
- Spring Framework
- iBATIS, Hibernate or JDO
- JMS with ActiveMQ
- Ajax and Comet (DWR, YUI, GWT, Dojo, jQuery, Prototype)
- Ant, CruiseControl, Maven
- Configuration and administration skills (Linux, Windows, MySQL, Jetty)
- JBoss, WebSphere or WebLogic
- Electronic payment, CRM and ERP
