Update on this problem.

Ken at dotcloud has found that there was a bug in their global nginx conf 
file that was causing the static_proxy URL to be handled incorrectly. It 
will be fixed with the next release of their software.

In the interim I need to get it working.
One way would be to override the name of the function so it doesn't 
include  "static" which should then work. I'm looking at how much work this 
would take, any thoughts appreciated.
