Hi,

Some thoughts:

The thing I missed the most in Mezzanine was a nice simple HTML editor with syntax highlighting and live editing/previewing support. But than I found:

http://django-markupmirror.readthedocs.org/en/latest/

https://bitbucket.org/fabianbuechler/django-markupmirror/pull-request/4/added-basic-mezzanine-cms-support-for-html/diff

And made a few simple adjustments to make the widget for `html` markup type work. This suites my needs, but somebody could probably enhance it further, add other supported markup types and integrate it nicely with Mezzanine...

Some motivation and ideas for live coding features:

- for motivation see Inventing on principle talk http://vimeo.com/36579366

http://livecoding.io/, imagine it with support for writing Django templates (note that editing templates allows direct usage of templatetags of all native Django apps, eg. no need to hardcode URLs when inserting images anymore)

- editing templates in Django can now be done with https://django-dbtemplates.readthedocs.org/ (note that Mezzanine is already designed so that you can simply change the template of every page individually)

- another Django app that does it a little differently https://django-scribbler.readthedocs.org/

- imagine how awesome Mezzanine would be with all this combined and maybe with a user friendly template editor for inserting templatetags :)

Greetings,
