Not at the moment - this would make a useful setting though.

FYI, just sent a patch that allows this.. I think will be merged soon.

Ended up with a slightly different solution where we can now make any Ownable model subclass accessible to all users via the new OWNABLE_MODELS_ALL_EDITABLE setting. Details here: https://github.com/stephenmcd/mezzanine/pull/465
