What's New:
Mew Mew's is now a stocker, not stalker, of Cascade yarns.
We stock a large range of colors in Cascade 220 ,a good basic worsted
wt. wool which is also a popular felting wool.

Cascade 220 Superwash is another worsted weight that is machine
washable. The way to go for baby blankets and children/baby sweaters.

We are also stocking Heritage, Cascade's sock wt. washable yarn.

We would be glad to order any colors of the above 3 yarns for you.
Other Cascade yarns can be specially ordered for you by the bag.
Almost forgot the Eco Duo, 70% undyed baby alpaca/30% undyed merino.

So many free patterns are available on the Cascade website too!

We're always inspired when all the new buttons arrive! Mew Mew searches
for the unusual in mostly natural materials. Her favorite new button is
the fly button. Sue's favorite is the wooden daisy. Have to make a
cardigan for my granddaughter just to use those buttons!

Have you met Colette?
Colette works Tuesdays and Saturdays at Mew Mew's. She is quite an
adventurous knitter and designer. From bee hives ,silk rugs, to
underwater dioramas, to felted spiders, rattle snake baskets and beaded
flower pillows , you never know where she going next! She is into wine
bottle art and cat pillows right now. Check out her class offerings at
www.mewmewsyarnshop.com under "classes". You can knit a pillow that
resembles YOUR cat.

New winter/spring class list will be up on website Monday, March 5.

What's going to be new soon????:
For those of you that have the basics down: knit, purl, cast on, bind
off and are wondering where to go next....
We will be offering a year long exploration of knitted stitches. The
course is progressive taking you from knit/purl combination through
reading charts,bobbles,yo, cables,simple lace. We'll knit one square a
month, and when completed we'll be putting it all together for a
beautiful showcase afghan.
The class will be offered on a Sat.morning 10 - 11 for 13 months. The
13th month class will cover finishing and sewing it together.
Not sure when we'll start this, but we're gathering names of those
interested. We could start in summer, or wait until next fall? Or start
next month. Let us know and we'll plan.
Each month's class would be 1 hour costing $12 per class. Materials
would be 10% off. We'll be using the booklet BUILDING BLOCKS

2 colors of Tundra (ruffle scarf yarn) just came in.

The Tundra and Marina have been very popular, hard to get in, and quick
to depart the shop. Many of you are still waiting for specific colors.
Supplier can not tell us when they will be getting more in. We will call
you as soon as your color comes in. We just got Tropical Waters

and Cabernet in the Tundra. We also have 3 skeins left of Marina in
color Butterfly Bush.
