The Signal-to-Spam ratio on this list is about 1:5 right now and I
haven't seen a post from a meteor maintainer since I signed up.
Are the maintainers still out there reading this? Can they ban the the
spambots from this list? If theres nothing but spam bots in here, the
list might as well not exist.... more »

Issues with escaping of strings

I just found out the hard way that a "\" character is not escaped when
passed to a client. Injecting some message ending with a \ can cause a
javascript syntax error on the client.
If meteor is deployed on a site where a user can inject traffic into
it, a user might be able to crash all connected meteor clients... more »

issue when using another iframe(s)

Hello,
I'm have issue when implementing another javascript libs that use
their own iframe.
These libs are two jquery plugins : "ajaxUpload" and the jquery
version of "tinyMCE"
When using both meteor and ajaxUpload, the plugin can't get the
properties or the content of it's iframe :

hey,
have you tried out meteor in chrome?
it works, but it shows an hourglass icon and a rotating circle on the
tab.
This makes the user think that the website is still loading, so they
might sit their and wait, or give up and think something is broken.
Do you know of anyway to get it to stop doing that?... more »

I've got 5 PCs that I'm trying to use to train disadvantaged young
people. The problem is they are riddled with viruses and a firewall
blocks me from updating them. The people in charge of maintaining the
PCs won't fix them or give me the admin password (Win XP) to let me
