Feedback on North End Writers Poetry Night
A successful evening event. The CASA was full, a good atmosphere, mixed audience and great feedback from those who attended requesting when the next event will be happening. Evening raised funds for the North End Writers group & MWM, approximately £40 each per group. All costs covered from door money taken. Well done to Becky for a successful event. rebec...@live.co.uk
Reclaim the Night March Update
Saturday 6th March
7.30pm assemble St Georges Plateau for speakers – speakers to be confirmed
8pm leave and start slow march through chosen route.
Route – to be confirmed
Police – Cath, Becky & Vicky will liaise with Police & other places & people who need to be informed
Risk assessment – Cath & Carole to complete when route is confirmed
Stewards – need 6 stewards. Male supporters to be used if not enough women stewards come forward and if male stewards used, they can steward at back of march
High viz jackets – Cath to provide
Loud hailer – Cath has one, Liverpool Uni - ?
March songs, chants, etc – Kat to provide, need to print off or email round for event
Banners – all banners & placards to be brought to march or circulated before march – Vicky to action
Noise makers – bring your own whistles, etc
Stopping points on March – women to find out info when route is confirmed
Women photographers for march – 2 needed Chloe & ?
Publicity – to use last year’s poster with changed details. Needs to ready to go to printers 8.2.10 and needs to be ready for circulation 15.2.10. Also need email poster in format. Vicky to get quote for printing costs.
Invites – please invite any supportive organisation, friends, unions, family members, colleagues, etc. it is an open march. Can someone who has White Ribbon links please inform them of March. Male supporters are welcome to march towards the back of the March.
After March social – to go to a chosen pub pending confirmed route. Cath & Carole to check out during risk assessment. Suggestions are: Mello Mello or Augusta John.
Cost – printing of posters and possibly venue costs.
That Takes Ovaries Update
Venue: not using the Black E, Nina will feedback on current St Bride’s availability. Suggestions include St Brides Church & Casamere near Cream

METAL Art Exhibition Update
METAL is an exhibiting space at Edge Hill Train Station and have offered a free space to host an art exhibition for the month of March. The theme is community arts & women. Kaety, Vicky & Jess to report back at next MWM meeting with progress.

Women’s Dance Event Update
Val fedback that she is in talks with a dance company to explore the possibility of a dance production at some point this year. Val to keep MWM updated with any progress.
Summer & Winter Women’s Solstice events
Carole will be organising events at the different times in the year themed on women’s empowerment, nature. It will be an enjoyable event with lanterns, candles & dressing up! Carole will feedback with progress.
Am I Invisible? Hope University Theatre Production
A women’s theatre production on survivors stories in 16th century text.
Monday 8th March, during the afternoon time to be confirmed

Free, all welcome
Stands welcome from organisations, groups, etc
There will be radio coverage there
