  To a small degree. I am asking for the average, of the two tasks. So &lt;br&gt; yes, there is a chance that some of the tasks get rounded up too &lt;br&gt; high. But the way it is now, they are all being rounded DOWN. So &lt;br&gt; HALF of us are being short-changed the way it is set up today.

  Well, what&#39;s the sense of those M+2 factors? &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Lets say we find all factors for one particular M+2. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;M=2^123-1 is a prime, M+2 divides by 12345 and 666 (stupid example). &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;And what? ))
