Resource leveling is implemented to adjust the planned values of your schedule. Tasks which are completed or in progress won't be touched.
If they are done, they are done, there is no need for you to adjust them anymore.
It is rather fishy however, to mark tasks in the future as 100% completed. I mean, how could one complete them in the future? Is the time machine already invented? :)
So, if the tasks in the future are marked as 100% completed by mistake, simply clear its actual values and it will be considered when you are doing resource leveling. To do so select the task and choose Edit > Clear actual values

If the task is indeed completed, but only placed in the future by mistake, simply correct its actual start to the date in the past when  this task was actually started. To do so, select the task, use the 'Actuals' inspector and edit the Actual start or end dates.

Best regards, Vicky

I'm pretty new to Merlin, so please forgive me if this feature is already there somewhere.

When I set a task scheduled in the future as 100% completed, and the afterwards level my ressources, Merlin doesn't seem to adjust the plan, leaving me with "gaps", where ressources aren't assigned a non-completed task.

What am I doing wrong? (me doing something wrong is the most likely scenario :)
