QTP Execution in Windows 2008 R2 Server

Hi All,

We have developed the test scripts in windows 7 32 bit machine, we wanted to execute the scripts in windows 2008 R2 server 64 bit OS. however the test is not getting executed. The browser/page object is not getting recognized. when we tried to record the same we are able to record and re-run the tests. Please let me know if there is any settings that needs to be changed in the Browser/QTP. i have tried to execute the scripts in IE 32bit i.e from the folder programfiles(x86). Your help is appreciated.

 check these ..

disable UAC(User Access Control) (i hope u alredy did this. )

do u have the patch for win 2008, and IE 64 bit patch,.

r u invoking browser using set IE=CreateObject("InternetExplorer.application"), if yes.. please replace with SystemUtil.Run ...

and check that which version of IE(64 or 32 bit) is invoked.

You have to install HP 64bit patch 

If you have license version of QTP then you can get 64 bit Patch file from HP.
